Miso Roasted Carrots

These Miso Roasted Carrots are a real gut-loving dish, and can be enjoyed as a side dish or eaten on their own for when you’re craving a bowl of hearty veg!


Assortment of organic carrots

1 tbsp miso paste (any type of miso)

2 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped

Sprig of thyme

50ml bone broth

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp sesame oil


  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C
  2. In a bowl, combine the miso paste, bone broth, olive oil and sesame oil.
  3. Coat the carrots in the mixture and lay on a baking tray with the garlic cloves and thyme. Pour any leftover mixture over the carrots.
  4. Roast the carrots for about 30 minutes until they’re lovely and soft in the middle.
