Easy-Peasy Tomato and Parmesan Pasta

Cooking pasta in bone broth is one of the best ways to add a boost of nutrients and protein to your dish, especially for little ones who can sometimes be fussy eaters! This simple tomato pasta is full of essential vitamins and minerals like calcium and magnesium, and is so easy to whip up during the school holidays or on school nights for when things are a little hectic.

Ingredients

250g fusilli pasta

250ml Osius Bone Broth (any flavour can be used)

200g vine-ripened tomatoes

Handful of shaved parmesan

1 garlic clove, chopped (optional)

Method

  1. Bring the bone broth to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes until the pasta is tender and has absorbed most of the bone broth.
  2. Drain the pasta and cook the tomatoes in the remaining bone broth, adding optional garlic.
  3. Combine the tomatoes with the pasta and serve with shaved parmesan.
