Why we're so grateful for our parks!

Remember the time when going to the park was the only exciting thing to do? Even though our lives may look a little different now, that doesn’t mean we should forget about the amazing green spaces that helped us through lockdown!

As part of Love Parks Week, these are our reasons why we won’t be stopping our visits:

  • No need to spend loads of money on admission - most parks are free!
  • They give us a much needed respite from the hustle and bustle of life.
  • They’re a great place for kids to let out their energy.
  • And they’re fun for dogs to have a run around too.
  • There’s always the excitement of packing your picnic basket - and how to incorporate Osius bone broth into them.

July is also National Picnic Month, and what better place to celebrate than your local park. Some of the ways you can include bone broth in your basket are:

  • In homemade hummus or pumpkin dip - perfect with breadsticks!
  • To dilute your baby’s pureed veggies - use instead of water to make them richer in nutrients.
  • In our kids fruity brothsicles or coconut and raspberry brothsicles - but don’t forget your coolbox.
  • Our creamy mushroom pasta is great cooled down as an alternative to sandwiches.
  • For beef bone broth dog treats so your furry friends don’t get hungry either!

If any of these take your fancy, the recipes can be found on our website. And remember, make sure you take your rubbish home with you - we want to keep our parks in perfect condition for everyone else to enjoy and to save our planet.
