Osius Bone Broth does wonders for dogs!

Bone broth isn’t just great for us with its many amazing health benefits, it is also wonderful for our furry friends! Bone broth does wonders for dogs as it is full of essential nutrients and vitamins that can help with many things including immunity, digestion and bone and joint health, and they absolutely love the taste of it which is an added bonus!

Bone broth has high levels of glycine which is an amino acid that may help with the detoxification of your dogs liver. Dogs’ livers are damaged by synthetic foods, vaccines, antibiotics and even walking on grass that’s been sprayed with poisonous chemicals, which is why it’s essential to look after and detoxify their livers to keep them in working order.

It is a natural source of glucosamine, chondroitin and hyaluronic acid which can assist with joint health and help increase the cartilage and fluid around joints and decrease the pain caused by osteoarthritis. Even if your dog doesn’t suffer from joint issues such as osteoarthritis, bone broth can be used as a preventative method to keep their joints as healthy as possible!

Just like for us, bone broth can help with dogs’ gut health. The gelatine found in bone broth can help cure gut issues like leaky gut as it fills in the holes in the intestine made worse by poor diet, bacteria, and stress and acts like a glue to hold the gut together. The Apple Cider Vinegar in our bone broth also helps with digestion by balancing pH levels in a dog's digestive tract.

Bone broth is excellent for dogs who are suffering with diarrhoea or nausea and have a lack of appetite as it is packed with essential nutrients including magnesium, collagen and potassium and is packed with electrolytes to keep them hydrated.

We recommend giving your pup our Organic Bone Broth with Turmeric as it is the only one of our bone broths that doesn’t contain onion. Incorporating bone broth into your dog’s diet will do wonders for their health, and it can be enjoyed on its own or as an extra delicious addition to their favourite foods!
